Welcome to Summerfield Day Nursery & Pre-school
We are a warm and welcoming family run nursery based in the beautiful Lytham St Annes.
We are a home away from home, safe haven enabling your child to thrive academically, emotional and physically.
Over the years we have built a strong, respected reputation within the community and continue to uphold this by providing high quality childcare.
We are within walking distance of many local attractions such as the beach and stunning parks. The local area also has a lot to offer meaning we explore our community on a weekly basis. This provides rich and stimulating learning opportunities for our children.
We have three very spacious play rooms as well as a new Sensory Room. The room have been thoughtfully planned and laid out to ensure they provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children to develop and flourish in.
Upstairs we have a fantastic Holiday Club room which also caters for children who attended our Before & After School Club.
We have recently had our Outdoor area beautifully renovated, providing a safe learning environment for the children to explore and enhance their physical skills.
We proudly offer a wide range of Extracurricular activities which include Beach Schools, Dance Beatz, Football, Sensory sessions, Yoga and weekly outings into the community and further afield on our Minibus.
Here at Summerfield each child is encouraged to learn through play which makes for a very happy and vibrant place to be. The children are happy and confident and eager to learn. All activities are thoughtfully planned to cater to each child’s individual needs.
Early years is a time where we see rapid change, growth and development which is why we have a very committed and experienced early years team who encompass our ethos throughout.
We pride ourselves on being ‘flexible’ with our sessions allowing child care to fit around your working schedule.
We know that starting nursery is a big step in a child’s life and can be a worrying but exciting time for parents leaving their children for the first time. We strive to make the transition from home to nursery an exciting and fun experience for both you and your child.
