Summerfield Day Nursery is located in St. Annes, opposite the Parish Church. We are well established in the local area having first opened our doors over 30 years ago in 1975. We became part of the Netstar 9 Group in 2007 and our aim is to provide a happy, caring, safe, and stimulating environment for your child.
We embrace diversity and acknowledge that each child is a unique person with an individual personality and learning style. Our team develops a close liaison with all parents from the very first visit, and it is through this relationship that we can ensure the needs of every child are met.
Summerfield Day Nursery is located in an expansive Edwardian house, benefitting from a large and exciting outdoor play area which has recently been extensively redeveloped and upgraded. Children are cared for in groups with children of a similar age and benefit from:
Well resourced areas – both inside and outside
Supportive adult interaction
Self contained area for babies
Above all else our aim is to provide a high standard of care to enable your child to become a happy and confident individual, well prepared for their transition to school and eager to learn.
“Putting my first child into day care was a daunting prospect but the staff at Summerfield Day Nursery really put me and my son at ease...” - Mrs K Wilson, St. Annes
Meet the Team
“Hello I’m Adrienna Taylor”
Hi I’m Adrienna and I’ve worked at Summerfield since 1977, which means I have a wealth of experience in childcare. I am the Deputy Manager and I hold a BA degree in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. Over the past 30 years I have worked with many children and families, but each and every one poses new challenges and new things to learn. This allows me to continuously develop my childcare knowledge, which in turn means I can provide the very best support to everyone in my care.
I am a committed and dedicated member of the team, supporting and working alongside the staff to implement high quality play provision within the Early Years Framework.
